Jenkins Landscape expanded its irrigation department in 2007 with our third generation family member, Steven Jenkins. Steven is a Licensed Irrigator by the state of Florida and active in both state and local irrigation associations. The irrigation department works closely with the landscape installation division to be available if any issues were to arise.
The Irrigation Installation crews are highly experienced and can install complete irrigation systems. Since we are heavily involved with maintenance, we like to make suggestions to install the irrigation for long term success. For example, separating zones by water requirements from the plants.
Irrigation also works hand in hand with the maintenance division to make sure all properties are properly irrigated and the systems are maintained.
By checking your system regularly, any issues may be caught early which will prevent water waste. Excess water could lead to plant stress and disease, high water bill, and more. Florida has experienced droughts during the summer months, and Jenkins Landscape follows all water restrictions enforced by either state, county or local officials. During these times it is more important to make sure the entire system is working properly. One clogged head could stress or kill a large area in the landscape.
A well maintained irrigation system is an integral part of your landscape. Proper and adequate coverage saves the customer money and creates a healthy landscape environment; which may also increase the value of your property.
Jenkins offers monthly contracts for routine system checks. These system checks include making sure the clock is operating properly, make seasonal adjustments, cleaning and adjusting of sprinkler heads. While the technician is on you property they can also make any repairs needed to the system.
